Protected disclosures, commonly known as whistleblowing, can present significant legal, regulatory and workplace challenges for both employers and employees.

Donal advises on protected disclosure matters from both a legal and governance perspective. In addition to practising as a solicitor, he has extensive experience in risk management, compliance, workplace investigations and governance within regulated organisations and holds a Practitioner Certificate in Protected Disclosures Law from Maynooth University.

He advises employers, employees and organisations on protected disclosure procedures, reporting obligations, workplace investigations, penalisation claims, governance frameworks and the practical issues that arise when concerns are raised within an organisation.
