We want your first appointment to be straightforward, informative and relaxed. Whether you are buying a property, making a will, dealing with an employment issue or seeking advice on a dispute, we will take the time to understand your circumstances and explain your options clearly.

Identification Requirements
What to Bring to Your First Appointment
As solicitors, we are legally required to verify the identity of our clients before we can provide legal services. These requirements arise under Ireland’s anti-money laundering legislation and apply to all solicitors and law firms.
To help us assist you efficiently, please bring the following documents to your first appointment.

Photo Identification (One Required)
- Current Passport
- Current Driving Licence
- National Identity Card (where applicable)
Proof of Address (One Required)
Please provide a document issued within the last six months showing your current residential address:
- Utility Bill
- Bank or Credit Card Statement
- Revenue Correspondence
- Department of Social Protection Correspondence
- Local Authority Correspondence
- Other Government-issued Correspondence
In addition to the documents above, please bring:
- Business name details (if trading under a business name)
- Recent business correspondence, invoice or business bank statement (if available)
If you are attending on behalf of a company, please bring:
- Certificate of Incorporation (if available)
- CRO Company Printout or Company Number (if available)
- Proof of Identity and Proof of Address for the person attending the appointment
Additional company documentation may be required if we are instructed to act.
If your appointment relates to a property transaction or probate matter, please also bring your:
- PPS Number
- Any relevant contracts, title documents, mortgage documentation or probate papers already in your possession
Please bring any documents, correspondence or paperwork relevant to your matter. If additional identification or verification documents are required, we will advise you following the initial consultation.
